With all relevant qualifications and years of experience, our trainers provide affordable lessons to suit drivers of all ages, skill levels and vehicle types.
Andrew Mitsi has been teaching driving for over 45 years starting his career in the UK. He is qualified to teach in Qld and NSW.
All Easy Start Driving School Instructors and staff are hand-selected and trained by Andrew.

For the longest time, I have been very passionate about teaching Defensive Driving so that drivers of any age or ability can reduce the risk of accidents and serious injuries whilst on the roads.
I consider myself very privileged to have taught what I love for over 45 years across several countries to a diverse range of individuals and organisations.
In the past, I have taught Advanced Driving Techniques and High-Speed Pursuit skills to the Police in the UK.
I have been invited to teach organisations in several countries and two Australian states.
For 45 years I pioneered Driving Lessons for Rehabilitating Drivers. I found this to be extremely rewarding and wanted to do more to help people using my teaching skills.
In more recent years I have founded Easy Start Driving Schools in Helensvale on the Gold Coast.
Today, our world is much busier, people are more stressed and there are more accidents. My team and I would like to change that to help everybody.
We offer a broad range of Driving Lessons and Driver Education to locals on the Gold Coast of Queensland.
Together with a talented team of Driving Instructors, we believe in inclusion for all drivers based on Safety, Respect and Responsibility.
Today we support Learners Drivers to pass their Driving Test and P Plate Drivers with Advanced Driving Lessons to be safer and more responsible on Queensland roads.
In addition, as a proud Registered NDIS Provider, we deliver tailored Driver Training for Rehabilitating Drivers with Physical Impairments, Drivers with Mental Impairments, and Returning Drivers so they too can enjoy the freedom and independence that driving brings.
When I’m not teaching I’ll be enjoying time with my family and my past times of camping and fishing in the great outdoors.
